Places you can fly for less than a day’s roundtrip train ride from Preston to London

Instead, here are all the places you can fly that are cheaper than a day-long round-trip ticket from Preston to London.

Below are some of the beautiful places you can visit between now and Christmas, with flights departing from Manchester Airport in the weeks and months to come.
Let’s start at the top of the budget: Santorini. Santorini is an island in the Aegean Sea located between Athens and Rhodes.
You can fly to Santorini for as little as £ 39 right now.
A one-way flight with Jet2 costs £ 39 on October 16 and a return on October 19 for £ 95 in total. That’s £ 5.70 less than a day trip from Preston to London.
Malta, the beautiful island in the central Mediterranean between Sicily and the North African coast, also tops the budget.
You can fly one way for £ 39 on October 28.
For those wishing to return, the cheapest return is £ 50 on November 21st. Totaling return flights at just £ 89 via Jet2.
You can travel from Manchester to Mallorca for just € 25.
The cheapest flight leaves on October 31st with Jet2, but if you can’t fly that day, they also offer flights for £ 29 on a range of dates that week.

You can travel one way on October 31 (£ 34) and return on November 18 (£ 32).
