CHICAGO–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Northern Trust Asset Management today announced that Angelo Manioudakis has been appointed chief investment officer for the global financial institution with over $1.2 trillion in assets under management as of June 30, 2021. He will begin office on September 27.
Manioudakis brings a wealth of experience to this role, having held senior roles at other global financial firms during his 32-year career in financial services, including most recently as Managing Partner of Lantern Harbor Investment Partners. , a Boston-based global alternative investment firm he co-founded. Prior to Lantern Harbor, he served as chief investment officer of Fidelity’s Global Asset Allocation division. At Fidelity, Manioudakis oversaw improved investment performance across approximately $500 billion in assets and delivered significant growth in the firm’s OCIO business.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from Bentley College in Boston and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He is a trustee of the American College of Greece, whose endowment he also oversees as chairman of its investment committee.
Manioudakis will report to Shundrawn Thomas, President of Northern Trust Asset Managementwho said, “Angelo has a proven track record of leadership in the investment management industry for three decades.
