Northern Trust acquires Yorkshire portfolio | Yorkshire Property News

Northern Trust has completed the acquisition of a multi-tenant portfolio in Yorkshire which totals 312,355 square feet.

The portfolio comprises 267,655 square feet of industrial space and 44,700 square feet of office space, including seven assets with 71 individual units located in Doncaster and Barnsley. This will add £2.1m a year to Northern Trust’s portfolio.

Many assets have been recently built, with 45,000 square feet due for completion in October.

Tom Parkinson, Director of Northern Trust, said: “It is not often that a portfolio of this quality comes to market.

“We have expanded our industrial portfolio through new acquisitions and developments with an ongoing strategy of acquiring and developing quality multi-tenant industrial assets to support the SME community.

“Currently our portfolio supports over 20,000 jobs across the UK.”

JLL and Shakespeare Martineau represented Northern Trust on the acquisition.
