Northern Ireland Aerospace Company Achieves 21G Accreditation

Northern Ireland manufacturer Bradfor has received Part 21G accreditation from the UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), which allows the company to work directly with airlines and MRO, and to manufacture aircraft interior products that can be installed directly on an aircraft.

The company manufactures a range of aircraft seat products, including covers, diaphragms and general upholstery. The company has built a reputation as one of the leading suppliers in the market, supplying products to many customers in the global aerospace industry.

Bradfor’s Managing Director, Patricia Clements, said, “Achieving CAA Part 21G approval marks another milestone for Bradfor and allows us to approach airlines and MROs directly.

“This accreditation is an exceptional achievement for our team and we are really delighted. We look forward to taking the business to the next level and continuing to grow in the aerospace sector after two turbulent years. »

Bradfor Ltd now joins leading aerospace organizations in Northern Ireland that have already achieved accreditation, including Thompson Aero Seating and Collins Aerospace.

This accreditation reinforces Bradfor’s commitment to high performance and delivery standards in the aerospace industry. The company already holds SC21 Silver Partner of Supply Chain Excellence accreditation, EFQM 5 stars and ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards.

Dr Leslie Orr of ADS (NI) said: “I would like to extend my congratulations to the team at Bradfor Ltd for achieving 21G accreditation. We have a very strong aerospace industry in Northern Ireland, which has long been a key driver of our economy. The industry is rich in knowledge, skills and experience, and it’s companies like Bradfor Ltd that contribute to it. Patricia [Clements] and his team are to be congratulated on this remarkable achievement – well done!

The company is currently preparing to exhibit as part of the Invest Northern Ireland stand at the upcoming Aircraft Interiors exhibition, which will take place in Hamburg, Germany in June.
