Jet2.com and Jet2holidays resume flying to Turkey from Manchester
Jet2 is now resuming flights and vacations to Antalya and Dalaman from Manchester Airport today as the airline and tour operator respond quickly to demand for a sunny Turkish vacation.
Following the easing of restrictions on international travel and Turkey’s removal from the Red List, the award-winning airline and tour operator were quick to resume flights and vacations to Antalya and Dalaman.
Busy flights are planned from Manchester Airport as customers are making the most of the Turkish sun for the first time in a year.
With up to seven weekly flights to Antalya and up to nine weekly flights to Dalaman available for Summer 21 from Manchester Airport, Jet2 is meeting huge demand and offering customers and independent travel agents a lot choice and flexibility when it comes to getting a lot-needed Turkish sun. The companies also operate in Antalya from Manchester Airport throughout the winter season.
Following last week’s travel update, Jet2holidays reported a more than 1,000% increase in bookings to Turkey, with vacationers flocking again to book vacations in the popular hotspot.
The addition of Turkey to the flight schedule means the companies are operating to more than 40 destinations.
Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, said:
“The resumption of our award-winning flights and package holidays to Turkey from Manchester Airport is great news for vacationers. We are delighted to restart flights and vacations to Antalya and Dalaman and to take clients to these popular destinations again. Guests were unable to visit Turkey this summer, so the country’s reopening has resulted in huge demand and comes just in time for vacationers to enjoy the late summer sunshine. We continue to look to the future with real confidence, as customers make the most of the opportunity to get away from it all and enjoy the much-needed sunshine.
