Jet2 cancels all flights and holidays until July 1 – readers are responding
Jet2 has announced that it has canceled all international flights and holidays until July 1 due to changes in the rules of government travel lists.
The economy airline suspended its program from June 24 to July 1 after the green list for travel was amended on Thursday (June 3).

People traveling abroad mean endless restrictions on the Kingdom. We can either stay locked up indefinitely in the UK with the pathetically weak border policies we have now or the government can actually stop endangering the lives and livelihoods of the British people and enact full hotel quarantines at the borders. ”
Allison Blakeway said: “It’s nice to see a travel company supporting the decision without whining – we have to try to protect ourselves from the incoming variants.”
James Taylor said: “At some point they will have to accept that they have a problem. That moment is now.”
Phil Burkeman said: “At some point these things have to be lifted because it is just not possible to keep people locked up in their homes or in their countries. It has to end, and now that the lockdown is on. is finished and the vaccine is on, it’s just not acceptable to give it to people. ”
Sarah Mannes said: “Here are my vacation plans for next year… oh wait, we can never go anyway.”
